Anti-Spam & Deliverability Policy

Zero-tolerance policy for unsolicited bulk email, purchased lists, and phishing.

Last updated: Sep 5, 2026

This Anti-Spam & Deliverability Policy sets forth the strict sending standards, recipient consent requirements, and operational thresholds required to use HarisLab Connect ("we", "us", or "our").

Our platform operates a shared sending infrastructure (@hlcmail.online), throttled queue dispatchers, and automated AI scanning engines. High sender reputation is critical to ensuring inbox delivery for all users. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward unsolicited commercial email (spam) and abusive sending behavior.

By creating an account or sending campaigns through the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Definition of Spam

We define spam as any commercial or bulk email sent to a recipient who has not granted verifiable, explicit, and revocable permission to receive messages from you.

Regardless of whether an email complies with technical legal disclosures, sending to recipients without their affirmative prior consent constitutes spam under this policy.

2. Permitted vs. Prohibited List Sources

A. Acceptable Lists (Permission-Based Only)

You may only send campaigns to contacts who have directly and explicitly opted in to receive messages from you. This includes:

  • Subscribers who completed an opt-in form on your website (including embeddable HarisLab Connect subscriber forms).
  • Paying customers who actively consented to receive transactional updates or marketing newsletters during a checkout or registration workflow.
  • Individuals who provided their contact details via double opt-in verification or a direct offline interaction (such as an in-person event signup) where receiving email updates was explicitly disclosed.

B. Strictly Prohibited Lists

You may never upload, import, or send to:

  • Purchased, Rented, or Leased Lists: Lists bought from data brokers, lead databases, or marketing aggregators.
  • Scraped or Harvested Addresses: Addresses pulled via automated crawlers, directory scripts, social media profiles, or GitHub scrapers without the owner's knowledge or consent.
  • Co-registration / Shared Lists: Lists acquired from third-party lead generation partnerships or affiliate swaps where the user did not directly opt in to your specific brand.
  • Stale Lists: Contact lists that have not been contacted or verified in more than 6 months, which carry high risks of invalid inboxes and spam-trap triggers.

3. Mandatory Message Requirements

Every outbound campaign dispatched through HarisLab Connect—whether sent via our managed relays or connected via custom SMTP (BYOK)—must contain the following elements:

  1. Clear & Honest Sender Identification: The "From", "Friendly From", and "Reply-To" fields must accurately represent you, your project, or your organization. Header forgery, masking, and deceptive domain routing are prohibited.
  2. Accurate Subject Lines: Subject lines must honestly reflect the substance of the email body. Clickbait, misleading prefixes (e.g., fraudulent Re:, Fwd:, or Urgent Account Alert), or deceptive subject lines designed to manipulate open rates will be flagged and halted.
  3. One-Click Unsubscribe Mechanism: Every marketing campaign must feature a clear, accessible, and automated unsubscribe link in the footer. Unsubscribe requests must be honored immediately and permanently suppress the recipient from future dispatches.
  4. Physical Mailing Address or Legal Contact: Campaigns must include a valid physical postal address, registered business address, or verified P.O. Box to comply with global email standards (including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR).

4. Platform Reputation & Performance Thresholds

To protect our delivery IPs, domains, and peer users on the network, accounts sending via our managed infrastructure are held to strict performance benchmarks:

| Metric | Acceptable Target | Warning Threshold | Automatic Suspension Threshold | |---|---|---|---| | Spam Complaint Rate | Under 0.05% | 0.08% | ≥ 0.10% (1 complaint per 1,000 emails) | | Hard Bounce Rate | Under 2.0% | 3.5% | ≥ 5.0% (Invalid / Non-existent addresses) | | Unsubscribe Rate | Under 0.5% | 1.0% | ≥ 2.0% |

  • Hard Bounce Enforcement: A bounce rate over 5% indicates an unverified or purchased list. Accounts triggering this threshold will be paused to prevent blacklisting.
  • Spam Complaint Enforcement: Major inbox providers (Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo) require complaint rates to stay strictly below 0.1%. Exceeding this rate will trigger immediate review or queue termination.

5. Automated Deliverability & Protection Systems

HarisLab Connect integrates automated safeguards into the core transmission pipeline:

  1. Pre-Send AI Deliverability & Spam Screening: Every outgoing draft is analyzed prior to dispatch for high-risk spam phrasing, phishing patterns, deceptive layouts, and reputation-damaging elements. Campaigns flagged with severe spam risks will be blocked from the delivery queue until remediated.
  2. Form-Level Disposable Email Filtering: Our subscriber forms automatically reject burner, temporary, and disposable domain addresses to prevent automated bot signups, protect list hygiene, and stop bounce spikes at the point of capture.
  3. Smart Drip Delivery (Queue Pacing): Outbound campaigns sent through our managed infrastructure are paced using automated rate limits (e.g., standard rates of ~22 emails/minute). This controlled queue pacing warms your sending identity, mimics natural human dispatches, and prevents sudden velocity spikes that trip receiving server firewalls.

6. High-Risk and Prohibited Industries

Certain commercial categories consistently generate unacceptable complaint rates, legal scrutiny, and IP blocklisting. You may not use HarisLab Connect to promote:

  • Payday loans, high-interest credit repair, debt relief, or get-rich-quick schemes.
  • Unregulated pharmaceutical products, controlled substances, or adult/explicit services.
  • Affiliate marketing link blasts, multi-level marketing (MLM), or pyramid structures.
  • Cryptographic recovery services, unverified token drops, or speculative wallet schemes.
  • Hacking tools, surveillance software, lead-scraping bots, or credential-stuffing tools.

7. Policy Violations & Enforcement Actions

We continuously monitor relay queues, bounce logs, feedback loops, and external spam-trap triggers. If your account violates this policy:

  • Initial Notice / Queue Pausing: Minor threshold warnings or single-campaign triggers may result in a temporary hold on your outbound queue while our team requests proof of opt-in consent or list verification logs.
  • Immediate Termination: Severe violations—including the use of scraped lists, high-volume phishing, severe spam complaints (≥ 0.1%), or intentional attempts to bypass queue rate limits—will result in immediate and permanent account termination.
  • No Refunds for Abuse: Accounts terminated due to spamming, blacklisting, or deliberate violations of this Anti-Spam Policy forfeit all remaining subscription fees and balance credits without exception.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you believe a message sent through HarisLab Connect violates this policy, contains deceptive or malicious content, or originated without valid recipient consent, please report it to our team through either of the following channels:

  • Support Email: support@harislab.tech
  • Live Chat: Contact us directly through the live chat widget located at the bottom-right corner of our landing page and website.

When submitting an abuse report, please provide:

  1. The full, unaltered email headers showing the original message routing paths and Message-ID.
  2. The complete text or HTML body of the received email.
  3. The delivery date and timestamp.

Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly to suppress offending addresses, investigate source campaigns, and terminate accounts that violate our anti-spam standards.
